Lifting system for precast concrete elements

The TORRE lifting system is designed for fixed-bed stripping operations of precast concrete elements.

The system consists of shackles provided with a double safety mechanism and a throwaway plate designed to allow the lifting and handling of precast elements, reducing the risk of cracks and flaking during stripping phases.

COMPONENTS OF THE TORRE SYSTEM

Shackle with double safety system
The shackle is the device that sits between the concrete element and the crane hook or the system of cables and chains connected to it.

It is provided with a double safety mechanism based on the concept of the joint, designed to dissipate shocks and dynamic stress.

Thanks to the articulation composed of three elements, of which the middle one is made with a double “C” link, it allows tipping and overturning of the elements while guaranteeing stress absorption.

Lifting plate inserted in the precast element
The plate is the throwaway device inserted into the precast concrete elements, suitably bracketed and caged.

The system is available with marked load capacities from 2 to 12 tons.

OPERATION OF THE TORRE SYSTEM

Fast coupling between plate and shackle
The coupling between plate and shackle takes place quickly thanks to the special throwaway plastic box.

Simply remove the lid of the box to make the hooking point immediately available.

Double safety mechanism of the shackle
The safety system based on the concept of the joint prevents translation and rotation of the shackle closing bolt during handling operations.

With the TORRE plate it is possible to lift the elements without causing cracks and flaking during the stripping phase.
