Universal lifting system for precast concrete elements

SAFELIFT is a universal lifting system designed for the handling of precast concrete elements. Easy and fast to use, it guarantees high levels of safety and foolproof use.

Thanks to its versatility, it can be used with different types of precast manufactured elements and allows different handling methods. The space use for inserting the shackle is minimum, also in narrow elements, contributing to the aesthetic result of the manufactured element.

COMPONENTS OF THE SAFELIFT SYSTEM

Articulated hook
The articulated hook is the device placed between the load bearing shackle and the crane hook or the crane/cable system connected to it. Thanks to the articulation consisting of three parts, the central one being a double “C” compression link, it allows all types of movement and guarantees absorption of strain.

Lifting shackle
Inserted in SAFELIFT and coupled to it, the shackle allows the precast element to be lifted in total safety by means of the articulated hook.

Tube embedded in the precast element
The tube is the permanent device embedded in the precast concrete element, suitably tied and confined. The system allows loads of between 1 and 12 tons.

OPERATION OF THE SAFELIFT SYSTEM

Safe engagement between shackle and tube
The lifting operation can start only after the safe engagement between the shackle and SAFELIFT has been fully completed. This characteristic makes the system particularly reliable and contributes to reducing operating errors during handling phases.
